Airy で生まれた、としています。 ですが、ルイジアナ州には該当する地名がヒットせず、仕方ない （？）ので St. John The Baptist Parish ？と⋯そして没年は不明、となっています。 Sonny Boy Nelson の録音が、Louisianna 州 New Orleans の the St. Charles Hotel での Bluebird への録音だったことからすると「やや」可能性がアップしますが、執拗に記されている Willie Harris Jr. の Jr. が他の資料では「一切」登場しない、ってのがちょっと気になります。 ま、いまのところ Discogs でも wirz.de でも生年月日が合致しているので採用はしましたが「ゼッタイ？」言われるとクチごもっちゃう⋯ その「 Jr. 」ナシの吹き込みですが⋯ 1929-05-07 at Chicago C-3445-B : Hollow Log Blues : Brunswick unissued C-3446-A : West Side Blues : Brunswick 7092 rec1929-05-07, Willie Harris voc & g.
